> The Stop
Smoking
Page
size=5>The purpose of this
page is to list some links that
might help a
person stop smoking who has tried
to stop in the
past, but was unable to do so--or
stopped for a while
and then relapsed. Stop by from
time to time as new
links will be added, particularly
if Mavis and myself
succeed in smoking cessation. We
have a tape from the library
called: 'Changing for Good.'
According to it, Mavis and I are
in the ' contemplation
' stage in our stop smoking
process. In this stage we gather
tools and resources and
information to help us make that
life changing decision:
"I...am...quiting...smoking...now!
"I just divided the page into
two parts--Part One is links to
free info on the internet that
might help stop smoking, and Part
Two is links to products and
programs that cost a little money
(quite a bit less than the cost of
smoking for a year, or the cost of
your funeral!) We hope that
somewhere on this page you will
find something that will help you
stop smoking. Good
luck!
